Profiling Solutions was founded in 1998 by Ron Fisher. At the time, Ron was working for a local software company, Ross Systems, managing their customer database and inside sales team and was the liaison between them and the industry analyst groups, Gartner, Giga, AMR, Yankee etc. He was tasked with finding a CRM solution that could manage marketing campaigns, create a sales pipeline and provide customer support with visibility into the pre-sales process. The solution with the best opportunity for doing this was Sage SalesLogix.
A number of former colleagues and customers approached Ron about creating Reporting systems and performing analysis on their data. At the same time, Ron was approached by a Sage SalesLogix Business Partner to author a Campaign Management tool for Sage SalesLogix. After three months of working from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM, MarketMetrix was the first technology solution built for Sage SalesLogix only utilizing their embedded development platform. MarketMetrix debuted in Boston in November 1998.
Profiling Solutions did not become a Business Partner of Sage SalesLogix until 2000. By that time, Profiling Solutions had gained a reputation for expertise in developing and supporting Sage SalesLogix. Sage SalesLogix and other Business Partners referred us clients for assistance with their existing deployments. In 2000, we made the strategic decision to start offering Sage SalesLogix. Our business of data mining and business analysis was quickly overwhelmed by the explosive growth of Sage SalesLogix.
Today we are a leading Sage SalesLogix Business Partner in the southeast United States with a national reputation. Over 40% of our clients are outside the Atlanta metropolitan region (e.g. AL, FL, MA, NC, NY, SC, TN,TX) and over 50% have previously been associated with another Business Partner.
We are in the process of coming full circle as Profiling Solutions is re-introducing our marketing solutions for Sage SalesLogix and actively offering data mining and business analytic consulting and solutions.
